KARLEEN LEVEILLE WINS 1ST PRIZE AT CELEBRITY COOKING COMPETITION!

Binghamton, New York, October 9th, 2021: Karleen Leveille participated in the Spiedie Festival and Balloon Rally Celebrity Cooking Competition. The competition, which pits local celebrities against each other to make the best version of a local Spiedie sandwich, had Karleen competing against other television figures. With her homemade apple chutney recipe, Karleen and her partner nabbed the number spot beating out previous festival winners.

“Cooking is one of my favorite past times, and the opportunity to add a new twist to a local staple was a great opportunity to share my appreciation for Binghamton, the community, and the food,” said Karleen.

About the SpiedieFest and Balloon Rally: The festival held at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, New York, typically in the summer, started in 1983. The annual event incorporates food, music, entertainment, vendors, and hot air balloons for people in the community to have fun with friends and family. It is now one of the top hot air balloon rallies in the country drawing over 100,000 admissions each year. Last year's festival was canceled due to the pandemic.
